Manual Labor is a creative studio founded by Sarah Dunham, Devin Farrell, Noah Greer and Joseph Perez-Green. We work collaboratively to execute projects at all scales – from graphic design to products, furniture, interior design and architecture. Manual Labor endeavors to bring curiosity, tenacity, clarity, and craftsmanship to everything we do.

We have worked for OMA, JMS, WORKac, envelope A+D and many others. We’ve been awarded two degrees in painting, one in environmental policy, one in graphic design and three graduate degrees in architecture. At various stages in our lives, we have worked as baristas, carpenters, architectural designers, city planning officials, researchers, boat builders, prepress editors, DJs, art store clerks, silk screeners, and photographers. We’re based in California and New York City; our fabrication shop is in Oakland, California.
